Barndominium

“The Barn” has so has so many unique features it is difficult to put all of them in the description.  The thought and attention to detail that went into this project makes it a one of a kind masterpiece that mixes luxury, fun, and craftsmanship while maintaining that particular barn (barndominium) design and feel.

The stables (garage) includes room for 4 cars and 2 buses (3 electrical hook ups and 2 dump stations), a hay loft with sliding barn doors, partial silo (bricked), shop, refrigerators/freezers, and a grill.

The exterior is a tasteful mixture of stone, brick, stucco, and metal. All of which were selected to tie into the original home on the property. The garage doors are cedar to look like large barn doors and have been finished with decorative hardware including over 1,200 clavos.

With so many details to this interior space, a verbal walk through is necessary. Upon entering, your eye will be drawn to the round game room with brick exterior and domed custom painted ceiling, finished off with rounded cabinetry and beautiful granite tops. Next you will notice a miniature casino and then a large kitchen and bar area with a groin vault ceiling.

Downstairs also includes a golf simulator and theater room. Upstairs has plenty of space including bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchenette, but the highlight is the Bunk Room with it’s barrel ceiling.. The bunk beds consist of queen size down and full size up perfectly fitted into the room with custom wood (cabinetry style) framing and then a double decker play room off of the closet with a chalkboard wall. There is so much more to describe including the collaborative effort and decisions made with the home owner that this is a project you have to see to believe.
